ICTA – International Culinary Tourism Association

For the First International Conference on Culinary Tourism, to be held May 15-18, 2004 in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The three-day conference will host delegates from the U.S., Canada, New Zealand and elsewhere.

The International Culinary Tourism Association (ICTA) is dedicated to serving the interests of professionals throughout the world whose livelihoods revolve around the conjoined food, beverage and travel industries.

The mission of the International Culinary Tourism Association (ICTA) is:

  • To help both professionals and consumers understand the relationship between food/beverage and tourism.

The Association has two goals:

  • To help food/beverage and travel and professionals package and promote their culinary treasures as touristic attractions;
  • To facilitate collaboration among food/beverage and travel professionals to achieve best practices in culinary tourism product development and marketing.

The Association offers its members a varied programme of professional education and development, information exchange and networking opportunities.
