I run workshops around themes or subjects such as:
- Service Design Thinking
- Service Profit Chain
- Strategy Development
- Scenario Planning / Future Search
- Performance Improvement
Workshops are one of the best ways to get everyone involved in whatever is is we are trying to do. People don’t really change when they are told something. Change occurs when we reach our own conclusions. So I do my best to design workshops in such a way that participants are engaged and motivated to participate. Typically I will introduce a subject, toolset or key questions to the participants and they will then work though one or more assignments. In the most simple form, this will be a discussion. On other occasions, we may use various tools to assist the process.
As a workshop facilitator, I always agree upfront with the sponsor what they would like to see as an outcome and then do whatever I possibly can to help the group achieve that outcome.
A good workshop will produce an actionable outcome.
I don’t have the solution – they do – but sometimes I know a way to get to their solution that they have not seen…
Workshops can be just a one-day, stand-alone event, be run over several days, or strung out as a series of workshops over a period of time.
My daily rate varies according to the type of work/subject, the size of the group and the travel involved. But it always comes with a full satisfaction guarantee.
If you decide that the workshop wasn’t worth your time, there will be no charge – you can tear up the invoice.
